IS THERE HOME?
When I fly sitting, like anything but a bird, I sit wondering, wandering, where is home?
I dare not open my eyes for blue sometimes is not the warmest color.
Weightless I am, weightless I feel, as if I could roll and jump, course through the untouched paths on the above ground As if I had no god, and I don’t.
Free is one with no fear, the mosque never said. godless, high up,
I fear not of what’s here, but what I might not have down.
I sit flying, like anything but a bird, craving, creating, is there home?
I make and become through art.
